The Kingsway Allotments Association

The Kingsway Allotment Association was set up in 2003  to promote the best interests of plot-holders on the Kingsway Allotment Colony in Chester and to provide a collective voice for the colony to relevant outside bodies.

Although the Allotment site is owned by Cheshire West and Chester Council, the land is leased to the Kingsway Allotment Association in order to manage the site for the benefit of plotholders.

Allotment tenants pay rent to the Association for the use of their plot under a standard tenancy agreement together with a set of rules applicable to all plot holders.

OPEN DAY 2024

TBC

P1030171-web.jpg
The Association has a polytunnel and pavilion for members' use......

Our popular and attractive allotment site is self managed on a voluntary basis by the Kingsway Allotment Association under an agreement held with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

PLEASE NOTE our site is in Newton, Chester, not Warrington!!

Our waiting list is now closed

We will update the website when the waiting list is open again. We will ask you to complete a short questionnaire which will help us to determine what is the best plot for you on our site.

If we become oversubscribed we will build a waiting list so that we can allocate plots quickly as they become available.

We contact everyone on our waiting list  from time to time to establish if they are still interested in being on our list. This helps us to keep our waiting list both current and offering a realistic chance of allocating vacant plots as and when they become available.

PLEASE NOTE:

Just for information, and in order to limit the considerable demand for plots on our site, we only accept people onto our waiting list who reside in any CH2 postcode ........

or a CH1 postcode (Sectors 1 to 4)
