We have plots available!

Contact us now via our website  if you live in the Hoole or Newton areas of Chester and are interested in renting an allotment

NOTE! To limit demand for plots on our site we only accept people onto our waiting list who reside in a CH2 postcode or a CH1 postcode in 'sectors' 1 to 4)

Please remember: our allotment waiting list is different to any waiting list the Council may have for allotments elsewhere in the Borough.

Manure!

We have identified a place near Chester where you will be able to pick up well-rotted manure free of charge! The manure is from sheep, alpaca and horse mixed with straw.

The only restriction is that you collect the manure on a Sunday only since the Farm is host to a number of dog training classes which generate considerable traffic.

The location is at Kennel Farm Ashwood Lane Wervin Chester CH2 4BX.

You will need to bring a trailer and/or bags in which to put the manure.

Please, when you have finished collecting the manure you require, leave the site as tidy as you found it.... the owner has very kindly made this material available and we would appreciate it if you respected her generosity.

& USEFUL LINKS
The Kingsway Allotments Association

The Kingsway Allotment Association was set up in 2003  to promote the best interests of plot-holders on the Kingsway Allotment Colony in Chester and to provide a collective voice for the colony to relevant outside bodies.

Although the Allotment site is owned by Cheshire West and Chester Council, the land is leased to the Kingsway Allotment Association in order to manage the site for the benefit of plotholders.

Allotment tenants pay rent to the Association for the use of their plot under a standard tenancy agreement together with a set of rules applicable to all plot holders.

OPEN DAY 2019

Saturday July 6th

Thanks to everyone who came and supported our Open Day this year.

We raised £250 for the Hospice of the Good Shepherd.

Have a look at photos of the event!

The Association has a polytunnel and pavilion for members' use......

Our popular and attractive allotment site is self managed on a voluntary basis by the Kingsway Allotment Association under an agreement held with Cheshire West and Chester Council.

Plots available to let!

We have a number of 'half' plots available now for rent. We invite anyone in the Hoole/Newton areas (any CH2 postcode or CH1 sectors 1 to 4) to apply via this link.

We will ask you to complete a short questionnaire which will help us to determine what is the best plot for you on our site.

If we become oversubscribed we will build a waiting list so that we can allocate plots quickly as they become available.

We contact everyone on our waiting list  from time to time to establish if they are still interested in being on our list. This helps us to keep our waiting list both current and offering a realistic chance of allocating vacant plots as and when they become available.

PLEASE NOTE: Just for information, in order to limit the considerable demand for plots on our site, we only accept people onto our waiting list who reside in any CH2 postcode ........ or a CH1 postcode (Sectors 1 to 4)
